North Swedish countryside

Untitled
Last week I went to Sweden with Johan, to visit my family. We started the week at my dad's summerhouse.

Untitled
This is the sauna he built himself. Highlight of the trip!

Untitled
Forest forest forest. He's had the summerhouse since 1995 and this was the 3rd time I spent a night there. 1st time I didn't freak out from the silence.

Untitled
He made us dinner, Baltic herring as a starter. And then some BBQ and salad. Yum!

Untitled
After dinner, it was time to hit the sauna.

Untitled
I took some pictures and some deep breaths. After so many years in Berlin, I think nature smells lovely.

Untitled
The woodland lake.

Untitled
It was raining every day except for one, when my mum threw a garden party.

Untitled
It doesn't get dark up there at night.

Untitled
This is right before midnight, Johan found his post sauna catwalk.

Untitled
The next day, dad woke us up with waffles.

Untitled
Tastiest ever, with whipped cream and cloud berry jam.

Untitled
We decided it was time to hit the second hand shops, our tradition.

Untitled
On our way we said hi to this lady moose. Beautiful, isn't she?

Now I'm back home and I have a few more pictures to share :)
I feel happy. I love my family so much.

Not afraid of dying

Untitled
This week has been a lot of fun. On Tuesday Johan and I took a walk down by the river and looked at people partying.

Untitled
I met a friend who had a surgery and we had coffee.

Untitled
A sunny head and today I had breakfast on Eili's balcony.

Tomorrow I'm going to do a job where I will ride a scooter all over Berlin, it's going to be exciting and I told my friends on Facebook that if I die, I want my funeral to contain Champagne, Oysters & Pet Shop Boys. I promise to drive safely. I'm not afraid of dying, but I'm afraid of getting hurt. Fingers crossed I'm gonna be fine!

Thank you all for answering my questions on my previous post, it's been so great getting to know you better and within a few weeks, I will make a post with my answers to your questions. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here and I'll include them in the post :)

Splashes of colour

Untitled
Saw some colourful simple things today, like this hot dog wrapping paper - I felt like I was a kid in the 80's again.

Untitled
Beautiful colourful origami.

Untitled
Passed by Herr Nilsson and bought a small bag of pick and mix candy.

Untitled
Then it was time to walk back home to the studio again and work.

I think I'm going to spend the rest of the evening in my studio.
Happy to be blogging more again and I'm grateful for those of you who are still here, I would love to know more about you! Feel free to share a small presentation of yourself in the comments. Write however you want, or if it's easier - use this list:

1. Your name and where do you live?
2. What is your passion?
3. What is your favourite food?
4. What are you looking forward to?

Looking so much forward to getting to know you better :)
If you have a question for me, feel free to ask and I will make a blog post with my answers.

A Monday in the studio

Untitled
The luxury, my balcony is connected to where I work. Drinking amazing filter coffee there today.

Untitled
I made two more pairs of baby slippers. A customer told me they are the only ones she's tried which have stayed on her baby's feet, so great to hear!

Untitled
This is a preview of a beanie and a one-of-a-kind loop scarf I've been working on for this coming Fall. Will make a shop update with lots of new things in late August. Looking forward to it!

Untitled
The sky today is amazing!

How was your weekend? Mine was great! Been working a lot, hanging out with friends, eating too much pasta and so on.
Happy Monday!

Zug der Liebe

Untitled
Yesterday the police started to block the streets from traffic.

Untitled
It was time for Zug der Liebe, a huge street rave (around 17 000 people were dancing below my balcony) for love, freedom of speech, against fake news. Among other things. And for the love of techno! Berlin loves techno, so do I.

Untitled
15 different trucks were playing super loud amazing music and people were dancing, no one cared about the showers of rain.

Untitled
Johan, Eili and I were dancing on the balcony as well.

Untitled
Great to see so much happy people.

Untitled
Several in great costumes.

Untitled
Lots of smoke were coming out of some of the trucks.

Untitled
Party!

Untitled
And then BSR cleaned up the streets and as soon as the music from the trucks had disappeared, it looked like nothing had happened, but on the inside we were all carrying a techno party.
