I have been working quite a lot lately, this is one of the projects.

And when I didn't work, I was socializing with friends.

Today I went out to run some errands.

These teapots always make me happy to see.

We are reminded every day of the holocaust.

Coffee bribe, the only thing that gets me out to run my errands.

Elderflowers in bloom.

Everything is so green.

Johan and I had lunch in the park, it's a hot hot day today.

Johan on his way to a meeting.

I feel like I lived your wonderful day along with you.
ReplyDeleteSweet!
ReplyDeleteThose tiles commemorating the Holocaust are extremely powerful. What part of the city are those in? Such a subtle thing, but such an important reminder.

Hi Julie,
DeleteThere are thousands of them all over the city, and more in other parts of Germany and other countries. You can read all about them here:

ReplyDeleteThe elderflower is just gorgeous - were you tempted to pick a sprig to make cordial?
ReplyDeleteHow much is it for that pack of sushi? (I found sushi in Paris to be overly expensive.)
ReplyDeleteThe one with salmon is €6.50 and the one with tuna is €8.

Love your weblog and how minimally articulate and vibrant it is.
It's been wonderful browsing through your archive.
That wooden cart surrounded by all the green realy says that spring is here. :)
ReplyDeletePhotos like this never fail to make Berlin call out. I have a photo of the plaque to the Erb sisters, to, from the time-before-last that I was in the city. Really makes me miss it...!
