The perfect gift

Once upon a time Johan asked me to make him a pair of wristwarmers. I made him these (which he lost in Williamsburg, so hopefully they are warming someone else's hands) and when I posted about them on my blog I got tons of e-mails from people who wanted to buy them from me. That's how my Wrist Worms "carreer" started. Since then, about two years ago, I've made many hundreds of pairs of Wrist Worms. Crochet is a way for me to relax and I love to give Wrist Worms as a gift to my friends, it always makes them very happy. The four pairs in the picture are made for Johan, he will get them as a gift when he comes home from work tonight. They are, for me, the perfect gift for someone I like and care about. Someone who's hands need a little extra love.

  5. This is such a sweet story. It proves that it doesn't take something big or complicated or expensive to make someone happy - just give them something that shows you care about their well-being.

  22. Hello Sandra, my wristworms arrived this morning, and not a moment too soon; its sooo chilly here in London (although not as cold as in Gothenberg by the sound of it). I very much appreciate having fingers free to take photos easily, and they are so nice and toasty. I hope to come back for a yellow pair soon. Thank you!! Ellie....
