Many years ago I used to collect fabric from the 60's and the 70's. They came in handy moving into my new studio, as the sun hits the computer screen all day long.
Books are everywhere, they will move into the bed/livingroom as soon as Johan and I have built a bookshelf. Don't think there will be space for all of them - a good reason to build a second one. One can never have too many books. I'm so happy because I've started reading more again, when I lived in Sweden I read about one book per week. Since moving to Berlin I've been reading... 2-4 books per year. So many parties, so many new friends. That's a great thing too :)
Wrist Worms Fall 2014 Collection is now available in the shop! So many new colours and qualities (25+!). For example quite a few veggie ones (cotton) - several of them are one of a kind. Also there are a few pairs made of 65% wool & 35% alpaca here (I love the coral ones!).
Use code EARLYBIRD for 20% discount, special earlybird offer during August - Welcome! Make sure to keep your hands warm during Fall and Winter :)
By the way, do you have a favourite pair? This is the pair I use the most because they go so well with all my clothes.
Hope you all had a good weekend!
Mine was relaxing although I did work at least ten hours every day. Working on new Wrist Worms which will be available hopefully in just a couple of days. The bottom picture shows a sneak peek of the new collection.
Also, I'm so spoiled when it comes to beautiful papersbags (see the top picture). Every Saturday I buy veggies at the market and come home with beautiful paperbags like this.
I'm a busy bee working on new products for my online shop (which is pretty empty at the moment). They will be available end of August (toys, Wrist Worms...). Having so much fun! Will keep you posted :)
July started with a boat trip on Spree with my family. We shares this amazing food together, all of us, at Baraka - one of my favourite restaurants in this city.
A couple of days we spent at Prinzenbad during the heatwave. After 2 weeks together, family went back to Sweden. I love them. So. Much.
When family left we went back to our own routines which envolve a lot of walking and coffee drinking as most of you know by now ;)
Have been having lots of good food, mostly at home but also here and there.
Then DANG! one day I had to go to the west(ern part of the city) to take out 2 wisdom teeth (it all healed so quickly and I didn't feel any pain whatsoever, so thankful for that).
During July I worked on a new grannysquare blanket and finished it (available here) and went out for drinks with Camilla, yay!
Took farewell of a friend who moved back to Dublin and ate Dopp i Kopp at home (boil new potatoes, melt some butter and pour it in a cup/glass and dip the potatoes into it, yum! - a classic recipe from where I grew up (Norrbotten/Tornedalen, north Sweden)).
Some dancing kids in a house in our neighbourhood + a picture of the beautiful light we get in our hallway in the middle of the day.
Coffee with my friend Tenia.
One day I had a smoothie with Marta and BOOM! Wedding party in a thunderstorm by a lake. Beautiful and brutal at the same time.
As you know I decided to move my studio space at the end of July :)
On the last day of the month I put on some make-up and went out for coffee with a friend.
